Welcome to RO DBT. (Feel free to skip this video if you have done a previous module).
My name is Karen and I’m a clinical psychologist based in Brisbane, Australia. I usually run RO DBT skills classes online. I’ve been running RO DBT skills classes since 2020.
Thanks for joining me.
We will be spending the next 6 weeks together. I will actively monitor your participation and answer any questions you may have about the module.
You will notice a bunch of different activities in our classes together including:
- videos (they are uploaded onto youtube, feel free to use the subtitles feature and adjust the pace of the video),
- quizzes,
- things to read
- things to journal** and
- opportunities for self enquiry (more on that later).
You can move between activities, and have full access to this module for 6 weeks.

| Self-enquiry journal | **I would highly recommend having a way to document your responses. Some people prefer to record their self-enquiry and progress on a computer document (e.g. onenote, word document) and others will prefer to write on paper. Whatever you choose is up to you.**

Usually, this module is completed over 6 classes. You can pause the class and come back to it at another time or use the classes to help you decide when to have a break.
